This is the first time we haven’t been able to achieve a sell-out raffle but we came close! We sold an incredible 982 tickets in the raffle. So minus all the costs and expenses involved in operating a raffle of this magnitude, the club will have still made a fantastic sum of money that will allow us to operate and continue to improve our Club and ground facilities, run programs for our community and generally assist families and players in our region.

Local community sporting organisations receive very little, if any funding, from local or state governments so these types of fundraising events, make a massive impact not just on those who play sport, but on the entire community - allowing kids to continue playing the sports they love, without their families having to spend an exorbitant amount on fees.

Out of the 1200 tickets that were on offer, ticket numbers 001-900 were sold via RaffleLink platform and tickets 901-1200 were sold over the phone with our Raffle Coordinator Colleen, or in person at the Club or at one of the truck expos we attended.

Previous major raffles (held every 2-3 years) have helped build significant infrastructure at the club including new change room facilities for football and netball teams, digital scoreboard plus many other Clubroom improvements.
